February 13th

Hey family!

Well I will have to be making this week quick and short because the internet is going way weird on me and we have to get going. There has been a change in the wind. Well really it is still blowing me upward.

So kind of unexpectedly I am getting transferred. I knew there was a good chance of it happening even though I have 3 months in Jardín America. I was just kind of denying it all. Still it wasn’t unexpected to know that I am moving on now. It seems my lot to be one to get the ball rolling and then I am to move on. I have learned to love this area with all my heart and will be sad to have to leave. Still with new experiences comes more growth. And I know it isn’t important if I am here to see the baptisms we have lined up. Mauricio and Luis in Corpus will be baptized the first of March and we also set up a baptism day for the family Benitez the first of March. They are almost done getting married. Rodrigo Rodriguez, the son of a member Nora Rodriguez, has agreed to be baptized as well though we haven’t set a day yet because we want to do it with his brother too. Elder Cranford has agreed to send pictures and I am content with that. Just knowing that these precious souls have taken steps toward their salvation is enough for me. We have a number of others that have agreed to be baptized when they know the truth. They are busy trying to receive their answers and we have been trying to help them make necessary changes. Esteban, Rudy, Vanesa…all people that have potential baptisms coming up. I am proud of what the Lord has been able to accomplish through me here in Jardín America. I feel I have grown here in immeasurable ways. When I started out here we had few investigators and little organization but now it is really organized and we have too many people to teach all by ourselves it seems. Still the Lord gives us strength to accomplish his work.

Anyways, I am sure you are all wondering where it is that I am going by now. I am moving up north a bit to El Dorado, Misiones. That means I am now in the zone where I will get to see the waterfalls. I am being bumped up to zone leader so I guess that means more responsibility. I am up for the challenge and growth that comes with it though. I just hope that I can do a good job. All He asks for is my best. My new companion is going to be Elder Peterson. I think I have seen him before but I am not sure who it is because there are a few Elder Petersons in the mission. We will see. I hear that he is a great guy. I am excited!

Well the internet is not opening your emails so I am going to work on sending this and then I will try to check later.

Love you all

Elder Aaron McDonald
