!?!? Hey - July 30th

Hey family,

Well I suppose by now you are all wondering what is happening, where I am at and all that. Good wondering. Well…transfers were really crazy this transfer. It would seem that the new pres. del Castillo has some different ideas than the President Shakespeare. So it all came as a huge surprise for everyone. In large part there weren’t a lot of changes. Almost all the zone leaders stayed where they are at (some for the 5th transfer). However, I was one of the few that moved. I am still in Misiones! This time back in posadas. My area is called Miguel Lanús. I have already heard a lot about it from my past experience and I am excited that I will be at least getting to know a part of misiones that I have never worked in. I am back down to M1 so almost no responsibilities now. That one came as the biggest surprise for me because you almost always stay as zone leader until the last couple transfers of your mission unless you do something wrong (at least that is what I have noticed). So it kind of hurts that maybe someone doesn’t have confidence in me or something. I am sure that is not the case but the thought is there. Anyways, I am thinking that the Lord has some plans for me here and I think that I may already be understanding a bit of why. It will be fun working in a normal companionship again. My companion is awesome. His name is Elder Walker and he is from Oregon. He has a family of 10 and is the youngest. His family moved when he came on the mission to South Jordan, Utah. So he is really excited to work after having a bad time the last couple transfers with another companion. I am way excited and have decided to just lose myself in the work here, with what the Lord has given me.

Well, my time is short right now. I recently got here and we are going to go and get to work. I will talk more next week and answer questions and what not.

Love you all,

Elder Aaron McDonald

PS It was hard to leave all the awesome investigators and members in Eldorado. I think Franco is really going to try to make it to his baptisms. He is already changing so much. The Candido family is also going to church and going to try to make it to the date on the 16 of august. The Dominguez family as well for the same day (they really want to be baptized). Several other that we found there as well. Well Elder Barindelli will have to send pictures.
