Hey family,
Woohoo!!! We don’t have any cows in the family anymore! I am excited about that one. I just had to let it all out. Anyways, now on to other matters…
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!! Alright so it wasn’t exactly on my mind, but seeing as you all mentioned it. Okay I forgot. But at least it is not my marriage. That would be bad to forget about that one. Speaking of marriages I am so glad that you have decided to pick my wife out for me mom and dad. But if you could maybe you could find her right now and I can start receiving emails and letters from people other than my own family. Don’t get me wrong, I love to hear from my family, but I just have to wonder what happen to everyone else. I guess it goes to show you that it is only the family that matters in the end.
I am glad that grandma will be leaving the hospital soon. I have been aware that she has been there pretty much my whole mission. How boring it would be. But I can imagine that she is happy to be leaving. Just tell her that she has to be careful so that she can come see me when I get home rather than me having to go and visit her in some hospital place.
This past Sunday I also taught on the spot. There were only 3 investigators 2 members and 3 other Elders. I felt like it went pretty badly, but luckily the two young adult members added their comments and answered my questions. I think that made the lesson. No thanks to the other Elders who were doing whatever during my lesson. I don’t even think they were paying attention. I suppose I can cut them some slack though.
Sadly we didn’t have any investigators in church this week. I was sad. Really it got freezing cold and rainy for a few days and even though the sun came out on Sunday for church, there was hardly anyone there. The weather here is crazy though. Since I am further up north in the mission it gets cold then warm, cold then warm, rainy then sunny rainy and cloudy then clear skies once again. We are talking about changes within the hour. We never know what is going to happen. This is winter in Eldorado.
Unfortunately I have not had much ice cream lately. I want to but there usually isn’t a place nearby in our area. It is out of the way sometimes. I need more money in my account to do things like that too. If you could put some in my account I would be grateful. I am going to see if I can change some dollars to pesos today as well, but businesses are often closed when we have time and we have interviews with President Shakespear today at 330. My last one with him! Next time it will be with Ptde. Castillo. I wonder how that will go.
We still have the stalker calling us and peeking in during church and sending messages and well…stalking. She needs some hobbies or something. She doesn’t seem to believe that Elder Peterson has left even though we have told her that twice. Elder Barindelli even told her where he went. I hope she doesn’t go on some crazy escapade. I wouldn’t put it past her.
Well, I think that about answers the questions that you all had. Right now we are trying to finish up the transfer strong with baptisms in the zone. We have several interviews this week to do and several more next week it seems. We have also got the family Nuñez lined up for baptism on the 21st of June. Right after transfers. We are trying to get the family Candido with a date as well, but we will see what happens. Other than that we have also found a couple other families to teach that are really great. The family Garcia is reading like crazy it is so impressive. They are looking for a greater peace in their lives. We are going to help them find it. Also Carlos and Carmen are really great and are also studying and completing with the commitments. Two really great families with kids and they are all going to come to church.
Well I better get going now if I want to eat something before interviews. I haven’t eaten anything all day long because we got to cleaning the mini apartment right off the bat, did shopping, got hair cut, showered, went to centro to do internet. Busy busy busy. Short pday today.
Love you all. Have a great week.
